First, reset your key fob controller to give yourself a digital 'blank slate'. Using a small object like a paper clip or pin, press the reset button on the rear left of the key fob controller and hold it for 10 seconds. The green light on the front of the controller will alternate with red light for 10 seconds, after which the light will stay on green for 2 seconds. The unit is now reset to a blank state and ready for your pairing and programming.
Now it's time to pair your key fob controller to your Vera Smart Controller. Slide the controller open and reveal the four buttons for operation, as shown above. The “Include” (pairing) button on the top left is the one you'll be working with next.
To pair your key fob controller to your Vera Smart Controller, you must first put the Vera into pairing mode. Bring the key fob controller within 3 feet of your Smart Controller.
