Your Yale Touchscreen lock will install in any conventionally sized deadbolt mounting hole. The installation is largely mechanical, and all electronic programming should be done after you've physically installed both sides of the lock -- the inside deadbolt unit and the outside keypad unit.
Begin by unpacking and accounting for all the parts, as shown:
NOTE: In particular, find the Network Module, which is included in a separate small box inside the lock's packaging. This is the part that will allow your lock to communicate with your Smart Controller, and it must be installed in the inside member of the door lock (the one with the manual lever for locking the door).
Now, begin to install the lock, starting with the actual deadbolt, as shown:
Complete your installation. Before you complete the last step -- screwing the battery cover back on -- stop here, because you will now begin the process of pairing your lock to your Vera Smart Controller and you'll need access to both the battery compartment and the slot that accepts the included Network Module.
